The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has recently added khapra beetles to the list of invasive pests that need mandatory inspection and quarantine, even with a special declaration on phytosanitary certificates originating from Taiwan. There is no getting around this. The fee for this inspection and quarantine is AUD 80, according to a customer who recently informed us of his interactions with the Department.
Again, Yang Ming Adeniums is unable to circumvent this requirement.
